![]() ![]() z-depth sees the transparency but… the ‘reflections refractions’ needs to be ticked what means that other glossy reflecting materials are on, so the render time increases. I also found out that if I tick ‘all channels’ under refraction in the glass material, I don’t have to delete my windows. The render is quick then but the problem of leaves still persits, like when using material with falloff metioned before. Using z-depth I manged to quick render the pass switching off all things in vray global rollout like ‘maps’, ‘lights’ etc, leaving only displacement on. I tried to use this plugin and tweak the slides, but ‘depth map’ slot seems inactive, and actually I don’t know how to do it corectlly. ![]() If anyone could also explain me in couple of words how to make this dof in Photoshop using Prischluft Lenscare, I’d be also gratefull. I also tried to set falloff map with distance blend in diffuse slot on the standard material (self illumination to 100), then put this in the ‘override material’ slot in vray global settings, and after that I deleted glass - indeed it’s faster way, but the problem here is that I have some leaves floating in the air, and using this technique they’re squares, not right shapes (that’s missing opacity map in the leaves material, when ‘override material’ works). I know that I could delete the glass, but z-depth creates image after the whole render is done, so I’d need to wait again quite long for each shot to render. Is there some fast way of creating such pass that includes transparency of objects? I know that there’s easy way to make dof using z-depth pass and than blur it in PS i.e, however after I did all my shots I realized in the end that the glass is not transparent and all things in my ‘patio’ behind the glass won’t be blurred. ![]()
